- वह मूर्ख, पुत्रहीन, तीक्ष्ण बुद्धिवाला, अल्पभाषी, प्रवासशील तथा सुखी होता है।
- सूर्य स्वोच्चराशि मेष में हो तो जातक यशस्वी होता है।
- बलवान ग्रह सूर्य को देखते हों, विशेषकर बृहस्पति, तो जातक विद्वान होता है।
- यदि सूर्य नीचराशि तुला में हो तो जातक प्रतापवान किन्तु ज्ञान का शत्रु, दरिद्र तथा काना या नेत्र का दोषी होता है किन्तु यदि उक्त नीच-राशिगत सूर्य पर शुभदृष्टि हो तो ये अशुभफल नहीं होते।
- यदि सूर्य सिंह राशि अथवा सिंह नवांश में हो जातक किसी स्थान या धन्धे का स्वामी अथवा अधिपति होता है।
- यदि सूर्य कर्क राशि में हो तो वह ज्ञानी, रोगी तथा फोड़ा-फुसी वाला, मकर राशि में हो तो हृदयरोगी, मीन राशि में हो तो स्त्रियों की सेवा करने वाला, कन्या राशि में हो तो कन्या संतान वाला, कृतघ्न तथा पत्नीहीन होता है।
- यदि सूर्य स्वराशि सिंह में हो अथवा वह शुभयुत हो तो जातक आरोग्य होता है।
- यदि सूर्य पापयुत हो अथवा वह शत्रु या नीच राशि में हो तो तृतीय वर्ष में ज्वर या कोई अन्य कष्टप्रद रोग होता है किन्तु शुभग्रहों की सूर्य पर दृष्टि हो तो उक्त अशुभ फल नहीं प्राप्त होते।
- If Sun is in the birth ascendant, then the person is healthy, has bile nature, has eye problems, is intelligent and virtuous.
- His gastric fire is strong, that is, he feels very hungry.
- He is foolish, sonless, sharp-witted, taciturn, migratory and happy.
- If the Sun is in its own sign, Aries, the person becomes successful.
- If strong planets aspect the Sun, especially Jupiter, then the person is a scholar.
- If the Sun is in the debilitated sign Libra, then the person is glorious but an enemy of knowledge, poor and guilty of one eye or eye, but if there is an auspicious aspect on the said debilitated Sun, then these are not inauspicious results.
- If the Sun is in the Leo sign or the Leo Navamsha, the person is the owner or ruler of some place or business.
- If Sun is in Cancer, then the person is knowledgeable, sick and suffers from boils, if it is in Capricorn then he suffers from heart disease, if it is in Pisces then he serves women, if it is in Virgo then he has a girl child, ungrateful and wifeless.
- If Sun is in its own sign Leo or is associated with auspicious planets then the person is healthy.
- If Sun is associated with sinful planets or is in enemy or low sign then in the third year there is fever or some other painful disease, but if auspicious planets have aspect on Sun, then the above-mentioned inauspicious results are not obtained.
